Boston Doctors Give Ecuadorian Children Ears

This article published today by The Boston Globe shows that a team of doctors recently went to Ecuador to perform free surgeries on children suffering from microtia, a disease in which one ear never develops. Though I can’t remember ever seeing someone missing an ear in my time in the country, the article explains that Ecuador has the highest rate in the world. A video also accompanies this article.
