Update on the Ash Cloud Over Buenos Aires

As of this morning the ash cloud remains hovering over Buenos Aires and all flights in and out of the city are canceled until at least midday. As of last night flights were crippled throughout the country, including Montevideo, Uruguay and Santiago, Chile. Yet by 11 pm last night the skies had cleared, which made it surprising to wake up and see total grey–the kind you’d expect in February in Boston. Again, it seems like snow is on the way but nothing more. No lava flows, no raining rocks. Continue to check local sources for updates on the flight cancelations:
